Laura Klitten M.Sc., Ph.D. Founder of HERA Health

14+ years of experience from the Life Sciences Industry and having built, launched, and supported novel technology and tools to different markets.

In addition, to being a mentor for younger professionals, I support early career researchers – Ph.D.s and postdocs as a career consultant at the University of Copenhagen.

I have a diverse background from a B.Sc. in Biology, M.Sc. in Human Biology focusing on health and disease in humans, and a Ph.D. in Medical Genetics.

In my career, my main expertise has been understanding difficult concepts and challenging tasks, and transfer this knowledge to others via scientific communication.

I have worked with commercialization of novel technology in the Life Science space. Primarily centered around Product Positioning, Market Analysis, Launch Plans, Building Support Structure, Providing Support and Optimizing Internal Procedures.

Throughout my career, I have utilized my soft skills to understand how people are motivated, their drivers, values and beliefs as professionals. I am utilizing this knowledge and expertise in a more formal structure at the UCPH.
